What this means for your family
A newly opened hall may be a good option, but visit before you decide.
A new venue can offer fresh facilities and open dates. Because it has fewer past functions to ask about, a visit matters even more.
Look at the dining area, parking, rooms and backup power, and ask whether the hall has all the approvals it needs. Ask too whether you can speak with a family who held a function there.
