How to brief your function photographer

Your photographer cannot know which relatives and rituals matter most to your family unless you say so.

• Share the order of events and the muhurtham time in advance.
• List the family groups you want photographed together.
• Name one relative who knows everyone and can gather people quickly.
• Agree when you will receive the photos, and in what form.
• Ask what happens if the function runs late.

Put the agreement in writing, including the number of people on the team and what the price covers.
