To choose rightly in every decision.
Courage to stand for Christ.
To know God through His creation.
A loving devotion to God and neighbour.
Wonder and reverence before His majesty.

A journey of faith
After Jesus ascended to heaven, the apostles and Mary gathered in the upper room and prayed together. Suddenly a sound like a mighty wind filled the house, and tongues of fire rested on each one of them. Fearful men became bold witnesses, and the Church was born.
The same Spirit now rests upon Sarah. Like the apostles, she is sent to carry the light of Christ into her home, her school and her world.
Acts 2:1-4
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love.
Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created, and you shall renew the face of the earth.
Amen.
She renews the vows made for her at baptism and professes the faith of the Church.
The Bishop extends his hands over her and prays for the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
“Be sealed with the Gift of the Holy Spirit.” She is marked on the forehead with sacred oil.
“Peace be with you.” She is welcomed as a full and strengthened member of the Church.
That she may always speak with God as with a friend.
That Mass and Confession remain her strength.
That Scripture lights every step she takes.
That she may see Christ in the poor and the lonely.
Voices raised in praise
Our young choir, in their white robes, will lead the singing at Mass. Their joyful hymns carry our prayers to heaven.
“Sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvellous things.” — Psalm 98:1
