A journey of faith

Led by the Spirit

The Day of Pentecost

After Jesus ascended to heaven, the apostles and Mary gathered in the upper room and prayed together. Suddenly a sound like a mighty wind filled the house, and tongues of fire rested on each one of them. Fearful men became bold witnesses, and the Church was born.

The same Spirit now rests upon Sarah. Like the apostles, she is sent to carry the light of Christ into her home, her school and her world.

Acts 2:1-4

Prayer to the Holy Spirit

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love.

Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created, and you shall renew the face of the earth.

Amen.
