A story of faith
Hannah longed for a child for many years and prayed with all her heart. When God gave her a son, she named him Samuel, meaning “God has heard.” She did not keep him for herself; she lovingly dedicated him to the Lord. Each year she sewed him a little robe and brought it to him at the temple.
Little Samuel grew up listening for God’s voice and became one of Israel’s greatest prophets. Like Hannah, we thank God for our child and place him gently into His hands.
1 Samuel 1–3
Parents once brought their little ones to Jesus so He could touch and bless them. The disciples tried to send them away, thinking Jesus was too busy. But Jesus called the children to Him, took them in His arms, laid His hands on them and blessed them.
He reminded everyone that the kingdom of God belongs to those with a childlike heart. Today, every child is welcome in His arms, and we bring Noah to Him with the same joy.
Mark 10:13-16
Begin and end each day with a little prayer, so he grows up knowing he can talk to God anytime.
Share Bible stories at bedtime and let the words of Scripture shape his heart.
Go to church together every week, so faith becomes a joyful part of everyday life.
Show kindness, forgiveness and gratitude at home, because children learn most from what they see.
Teach him to share and to help those in need, just as Jesus loved and served.
